We recommend FBU to only players under 16. Afterter grade 9-10, players that desire to play in the NCAA or CIS should be attending camps/combines/events in the U.S. or CIS events in Canada through the guidance of GRP. I will make this clear, FBU doesn't help you with recruiting. The youth game in Texas is a blast, and so is the All-American combine, however, through experience and first hand knowledge, they will never pick a Canadian for the U.S. Army All-American game. This was the main reason why we parted ways.
Also realize that although it is truly a great camp, for the same price, GRP can take you to TWO camps in the U.S. that has fantastic coaches and gets you in front of the people that have the power to get you a scholarship to a NCAA or CIS school!
Enjoy the camps for what they are, however, if budgets do come into play, let us guide you to receiving the best bang-for-the-buck in exposure and recruiting!
Oh, and don't EVER sign up with the NCSA!!!!!! It's a scam!
GRP can help you for little to no money. We do it all. Academic advising, coaching, events, bus trips, camps, and combines! message me for details matt@GrassRootsProspects.com for more info!
