Hi Matthew,

We just got home today , it was a great experience ,we wanted to thank you again for giving Nate this opportunity.
I don't know if you knew this or not but we are a military family and we just moved to Nova Scotia from Victoria 16 months ago. Nate played for the Renegades with the four boys that were in San Antonio from Victoria, he played with Marcus for 3 years, and Marcus was always the TEAM , he is such a nice kid too, Nate played with Brian and Christian and they are all friends, small world.
Congratulations on the Win ! you must be excited. We signed Nate up for the Acadia FBU Camp in August and if you need any help with that Fred and I would be honoured to volunteer our services to help in that combine.
Looking forward to a continued relationship with grassroots / FBU.
Cheers

I signed Lucas up last week at your booth in the hotel lobby. Hopefully it was taken care of. Thank you for inviting Lucas it was a great experience for him and from what I saw he represented Canada well.

Hi, Matthew:

Thank you so much for the amazing week you've given our Canadian boys!!  From start to finish, this experience has been first-class.

Our local Victoria media want some info on the game.  I'm wondering if you kept stats at all and, if so, whether you could provide me with game stats for Marcus, Brian, Ashton and Christian (yards rushing, interceptions, pass completions, tackles, etc.)  Anything you've got would be appreciated as the local TV news & radio channels are putting stories together.  (Word is getting out fast this morning - a radio sports announcer had just got an email about Team Canada beating Team USA.... "in Texas, the buckle of the football belt"....... he thought it was a hoax at first!  The weather guy told him, no, it's true, it really happened.)

Many thanks, Matthew!

Hi Matt,
I just wanted to send a quick note to thank you for the amazing week in San Antonio. You and your group clearly put a great deal of time, energy and effort into putting everything together.
Shaun had a great time all week and enjoyed all of the practices, activities and event. The victory over the US Team on Sunday is something Shaun won't forget for a very long time.
Personally, I was very impressed with the atmosphere and the excitement around the sport for the entire week. Whether we were at practice, a break out session, a meet and greet session or just walking through the hotel there was an excitement in the air that could not be missed which made the week feel even more special for every one involved.
Do you know if it will be possible to purchase a DVD copy of the game at some point? If so can you send me the details and how I would be able to get a copy?
Thanks again and I am looking forward to the FBU Camp at Acadia this summer.

Matt, again thank you for inviting Lucas to the combine. I think he did an excellent job as did all our Canadian boys representing Canada. The local paper wants to do an article on him and if you can upload the CJ Spiller picture with Lucas that would be great.

Hi Matthew;

Before I respond to your email, a great big thank you is in order.  My son Marshal Klein, told briefly about your involvement in procuring a spot for team Canada in the Youth Bowl.  This was the most amazing experience for Marshal and our family.  Thank you for all that you have done.

Marshal is a unique 14 year old as he has been very clear with his goals and has disciplined himself to align with those outcomes.  He is an exceptional student and a darn good football player.  He set his sights on making the
provincial team as well as making the Varsity team at his high school.  He not only made the U16 team, but he started and was the defensive captain at age 13.  He not only made the Varsity (one of 3 Grade 9's)  team, but he started and was named to the High School Football Honour Roll.  His primary goal is to play College Football.  Until going to Texas, I had no idea what
that process involved.  It's quite daunting but I know that having the Youth Bowl experience has moved him closer to his goal.
I hope that I have expressed the magnitude of my gratitude.  This has been life changing for Marshal.

Hi Matt,
The Team Canada experience was outstanding not only for Mackenzie but me as well. We met some great people (some of whom I am friends on Facebook with now). Thank-you for the wonderful experience and for choosing Mackenzie to represent you and FBU in Canada. I hop we can experience many more things that Grassroots and FBU has to offer.

Thanks again,

Ken Sheridan
